Central Vietnam warned about flash floods, landslides
Showers continue to pour down many localities nationwide, posing a risk of flash floods and landslide in the central region.

According to the National Hydro-meteorological Forecast Centre, mountainous localities, from the area between Thanh Hoa and Thua Thien Hue are on verge of being hit by flash floods and landslides.
More heavy rain is forecast for localities in the north-western region, with estimated temperatures ranging from 22 to 32 degrees Celsius, the centre said.
Hanoi will likely incur more showers and storms with temperatures of at 24-32.
Heavy rains and storms may cause flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas of provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue.
Showers and storms are expected to hit localities from the central city of Danang to the central province of Binh Thuan as well as some localities in the central highlands and southern regions.
At noon August 2, heavy rains flooded several streets in Hanoi, including Pham Hung, Kim Lien, and Giai Phong.
